Since I can remember I have always had a passion to help people. It didn’t matter if it was my best friend in Kindergarten get her finger painting “just right” or if was reconnecting a family that had for whatever reason been apart. This is why I ended up being a social worker for 19 years! To me there is nothing better than to go to bed every night knowing I made a difference in someone else’s life.
Being your real estate agent gives me that same satisfaction. Knowing that you have trusted me with one of your most valuable possessions is not something I take lightly or for granted. I believe in the power of connections, patience and perseverance. When I am working I work hard, when I am playing, I play hard. One of the biggest events in most people’s lives is buying and selling their home. I am here to help.
I am not here to ramble on and on about my expertise (although I will if you want me too) I am here to listen more, talk less and find out what your needs are. Then it’s my job is to travel and guide you down the awesome path of creating your next steps. Every home has a unique story, one that needs to be told. I would love be the voice of your home to the world.
Between changing the toilet paper roll, deciphering a text messages from a 16 year old who is trying to explain for the 10th time why I should let him spend $25 on a pair of socks, cleaning the baked on mac and cheese from a month ago in my microwave, trying to figure out what that black and green thing with legs growing in my fridge is, and being a goddess to my man, I am not all that un-ordinary. I have 6 kids, a good man, a dog and a frog I rescued from certain death by a black snake.
We are not the Brady bunch. The Brady bunch had a maid. I do NOT. I have 5 teenagers at home, who don’t seem to understand that if you don’t plug in the vacuum, you are actually not doing anything. I truly believe God forgot to give them the ability to put the cap on the tooth paste. He also seemed to take away their ability to stoop down and pick up a piece of trash that they have walked completely around for a week, or live without taking a Snapchat every two seconds. I have a dog who instead of letting me sleep in (rare opportunity), likes to jump on the bed and sit on my face until I take him out (did I mention that he is 56 lbs.)?
Like all 90’s children, I grew up believing I could do anything, and be anything I wanted….I am still not over that lie! Come on, I wanted to be Superwoman … that was a major let down. I am a little overweight, but really don’t care. I spent my 20’s and 30’s trying to look like Stevie Nicks, only to realize that she must have a liposuction god on stand-by. I am very choosy, very suspicious, and laugh at the most inappropriate times. I’ve been told I’m cheap, and I tend to touch things that I shouldn’t and break them in the process. I am a recovering Pop Tart addict, and now am totally addicted to playing candy crush. I truly love my life, and wouldn’t take anything for what I have. Overall I am pretty normal, except I cannot seem to write a bio for my company for the life of me!
